Non-contact flag rugby options are available for beginners and younger age groups (such as K–2 and 2nd–4th grade co-ed flag). Programs progress along a safe, structured pathway as players grow and build confidence. Sessions focus on age-appropriate game mechanics and basic skills in a controlled environment.

Inclusive for all youth

Open to public, private, and homeschool students throughout Monroe, Owen, Lawrence, Brown, Jackson, Greene, and Morgan counties. Welcomes both boys and girls across multiple divisions. No prior rugby or sports experience is required to join introductory sessions

Focuses on core values like teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and respect. Connects local families through community-focused training and regional coaching from the seven-county area. Promotes active lifestyles and physical fitness while helping young athletes find a supportive team environment

Current partnerships

Intro to Rugby is a fun, youth development program hosted in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington. Built for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade, this program introduces the basic fundamentals of rugby in a 100% non-contact environment. It’s the perfect, safe way for your child to learn a exciting new sport, build confidence, and stay active!
